Focus June 19, 2012

Today we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at karate. Jayden was so excited to go today. Before karate we have the talk about trying everything the coach tells us to do and trying our best. Sometimes my precious child doesn’t want to try new things until he has seen other do it. I try to encourage him before class so he is prepared for new things.

Once class begins, Jayden always try to find one of his favorite coaches to stand by. He seems to choose the same coaches.

Here he is locking it up! And of course beside the coach! 😉 First they pretend to be some animals – bear and dinosaur.

Obstacle time! He loves this part of karate. He loves doing the obstacles to get to the bag to kick or hit whichever they are doing.

Again, excited after doing the obstacle!! He is doing so well at following the directions.

Tonight they learned to tell bullies to stop. He loves the part where he pushes the coach an the coach falls!!

And this is what happens after a full lesson at karate!!!

Summer Time! June 13, 2012

Well, it’s actually summer time!!! I know this because my family has busted out the color hair dye!! The wild, crazy hair colors are always so much fun!!! We have quite a variety on the shelf to choose from, but I am the only one that tries new colors!!

Billy went with just bleach highlights. He feels he should stay less bright since he works for the government!

Jayden starts with bleach …. And can’t wait for the actual color to be added!!

I love the way his hair looks with just bleach highlights!! But we must not stop there!! After all, he can have bleach highlights at anytime of the year.

The color is added!! Now can you see why he is so excited to see the bright green! Everyone that knows Jayden knows that there is no color as awesome as green!!

After the dye is out and hair is dry … Here it is!! And he LOVES it!!

And mine … This time I added some teal blue highlights!

Day With Cliff June 3, 2012

Today, an amazing friend of our family came to visit – Cliff! We all went out for lunch, and we decided on Slim Chicken for some wings!!! Yum!! Wings, strips, and fried pickles!!! 😉

After eating, we went to Guthrie for a little shopping. We went into several little shops. Everyone had a great time shopping and catching up!! Jayden gave us a few heartaches in the shops full of glass especially when we saw how much the items were!! Jayden got a special type of ride in several locations.

At the end of our journey, we stopped in the chocolate shop for treats and drinks. Jayden decided on a sour apple smoothie and chocolate covered marshmallow. Billy got a coke. I got a pecan chocolate cluster and chocolate covered coconut. Cliff tried a drink with some sugar free flavors. Billy and I purchased many sugar free chocolates for Cliff to take home.
